Privacy
This is a small, independent site. It collects as little about you as it can get away with.
Analytics
I use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-8QCKD2V3M6) to see which pages are useful. Google’s script sets first-party cookies (_ga and similar) and records page views, referrers, device type, and approximate location. Advertising features and Google Signals are turned off, so this is not used to show you ads or to build an ads profile.
Google processes that data on its servers. See Google’s privacy policy. You can block the script with a browser content blocker, or with Google’s opt-out add-on.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored with the email provider that sends it and is used only to send you the newsletter. It is never sold or shared. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address.
Downloads and forms
If you download a file or submit a form, only the information you enter is collected, and only for the purpose stated on that page. Messages sent through the contact form are emailed to me and are not added to the newsletter list.
Third parties
Google Analytics loads on every page. Some pages also embed content from or link to other third-party services (for example maps, video, or affiliate retailers). Those services have their own privacy policies and may collect data when you interact with them.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC’s PIPA) you can ask what personal information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hi@psingh.ca and I will action it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
